We choose destinations you can enjoy on a short trip and explain what kind of trip they suit. The styles are editorial guidance, not a score.
1. A plan that fits your days
We suggest routes with few stops. The suggested days don't promise any journey times: those depend on where you start, timetables and each person's pace.
2. The official source, close at hand
For opening times, rules and bookings, we link to local tourist boards, site managers and providers. Conditions can change; check the source before your trip.
3. The data we do show, and where it comes from
- Climate: AEMET climate normals from the nearest weather station, with the reference period shown in each guide (1981-2010 for most). They're long-term averages, not a forecast.
- Road distances: calculated with OSRM using OpenStreetMap data. They're approximate and don't include traffic or stops.
- Activities: title, rating and number of reviews exactly as Civitatis provides them. We don't change or rate them ourselves.
4. Transparency when you book
Links to Civitatis are affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Current prices and availability are always shown on the provider's website.
5. Dates and limits
The date shown tells you when the guide was last reviewed. The choice of months and the styles are editorial criteria. We don't provide weather forecasts or real-time availability.
